Pat Cummins, who missed out on the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 due to an ankle injury, is expected to make his comeback in IPL 2025. “The aim is to start bowling in the next week or so, gradually build up, and be fully prepared for the IPL,” he said in an interview with cricket.com.au.
Pat Cummins was initially named in Australia’s squad for the ICC Champions Trophy. However, he and his two pace partners – Josh Hazlewood and Mitchell Starc- pulled out from the tournament for their respective reasons.
Josh Hazlewood is currently recovering from a hip injury. He is also expected to get back in action for the Indian Premier League for Royal Challengers Bangalore.
